Summary: Some dastardly beings will do anything to ensure the end times. For this practitioner of the dark arts, there was no border he wouldn't cross. Not murder, not pain, not even the borders of time.
History: Back in the 17th century, Boston held captive an evil Warlock said to have been the spawn of Satan himself. But he had a plan to bring about the apocalypse. His father manages to propel him into the 90s so that he may obtain all pieces of the Grand Grimoire so that he may say God's true name backwards and doom us all. And then the plan gets changed to getting all the Druid rune stones after he's reborn. And then the plan is to instigate the birth of an evil race. Hey, pick an evil plan and stick to it!
Notable Kills: In his second outing, the Warlock shrinks a man and warps him into a rainbow abstract art piece that's still alive. He quips that it looks like a Picasso.
Final Fate: The Warlock simply never wins. Every McGuffin hunt has ended with him being injected with saltwater, getting sent back to Hell with his dad by truck lights (yes...simple lights), and finally getting stabbed in the heart with a sacrificial blade.
Powers/Abilities: Complete control of reality, meaning an endless variety of deadly spells.
Weakness: Holy grounds, saltwater, pure light, destruction of the heart.
Scariness Factor: 4.5-All joking aside, anyone who crosses this "man" are surely doomed without the right preparations. Not only is he leagues above any of those twats at Hogwarts, but he's got a sick sense of humor to go along with it. Who else kills a non-baptized child just because they needed some fat for a flying spell?!
Trivia: -Originally, the film's plot was the other way around, with the Warlock being just a persecuted guy getting sent to the present to be persecuted for different reasons. There were other concepts too, but the budget limited them all.
-Oh yeah, that bit about the Warlock killing a kid? It inspired a very real murder of a 7-year old that was ten times more horrible than anything that demon could conceive (we're not even going to start describing it). And yes, the killer, Sandy Charles, claims that the film directly inspired him to do this.
